Recently, the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China sees a constant growth, especially, both sides reached many consensuses on many aspects and agreed on promoting the mutual economic and trade cooperation relationship further and wider when RUAN Fuzhong, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party, visited China in October 2011 and when XI Jinping, Vice President of China, visited Vietnam in December 2011.
The 2012 Vietnam-China economic & trade investment and tourism cooperation forum will be staged on May 21, 2012. Both sides pay high attention to this forum; Deputy Minister in charge of economic policies of the Vietnamese Department of Foreign Affairs will be lead a delegation to attend it. The delegation include main officials of the Vietnamese Department of Foreign Affairs, Plan and Investment Department, Commerce Department, Culture, Sport and Tourism Department, as well as main Vietnamese provinces and some large-scale enterprises, involving the fields of agriculture, industry, tourism, trade and engineering construction. This forum is to further deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China.
