The list of “Top 20 Online Exhibition Service Providers in 2020” was released recently. The CCPIT Exhibition Cloud Platform developed and operated by China International Exhibition Center Group Corporation (CIEC) was extensively recognized by the exhibition industry and ranked fourth in the list along with other well-known online exhibition service providers such as Tencent Cloud Exhibition, Digital Expo (Alibaba), and JD Cloud Exhibition.
The list of “Top 20 Online Exhibition Service Providers in 2020” was selected and evaluated by the first authoritative ranking institution in the exhibition industry-China International Conference Exhibition Magazine through expert discussions, industry recommendations, data research and other means. Progressive system, multi-dimensional selection and scoring Indicators and scoring rules were adopted to finalize the list with detailed data, rigorous standards, and real cases.
With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, the exhibition industry switched from physical form to virtual ones, from offline to online in the first half of 2020. In April 2020, the “Notice on Innovating Exhibition Service Models and Cultivating New Drivers for the Development of the Exhibition Industry“ issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Commerce stated that it is necessary to accelerate the transformation, upgrading and innovative development of the exhibition industry, and actively build a new platform for online exhibitions to promote the integrated development of online and offline exhibitions, cultivate online flagship exhibitions and leading exhibition service providers. Against this backdrop, under the leadership of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade(CCPIT), CIEC has successfully developed a CCPIT Exhibition Cloud Platform with the purpose of “integrating online and offline exhibitions, connecting domestic and international enterprises, serving Chinese and foreign enterprises, and building a trade promotion platform”, and insists on serving exhibitions held by both government and enterprises. CIEC adopts a dual service strategy of integrating independent online exhibitions and building online service platforms for offline exhibition, leading to both social and economic benefits.
Since the launch of the platform, the CCPIT Exhibition Cloud Platform has provided services for national online exhibition and exchange events such as the China-UAE Economic and Trade Digital Expo, China-Europe International Trade Digital Expo, China - Central & Eastern Africa (Kenya) International Trade Digital Expo and domestic market-oriented online exhibitions such as China (Shenyang) International Robot Digital Exhibition, China International Senior Care & Rehabilitation Expo (Cloud Version). Besides, CCPIT Exhibition Cloud Platform established online exhibition platforms to provide support and services for traditional offline exhibitions such as China International Optics Fair, Coffee Show China, and the 9th Shenyang Faku International Flight Conference and General Aviation Emergency Application Industry Expo, served tens of thousands of exhibitors, attracted millions of professional sellers, and held hundreds of online matchmaking meetings, exchange meetings and trade fairs. Thousands of trade transactions were reached through intelligent matching, with a transaction volume of several billion yuan, contributing to the promotion of the international trade and domestic circulation of consumption during the pandemic.
