CCPIT Beijing and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana signed an agreement on friendly cooperation at the Tirana City Council at noon on Oct. 24th (local time), in the build-up to the 4th China-CEEC “17+1” Capital Mayors Forum. Zhou Ding (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Albania), Lu Yan (Vice Mayor of Beijing) and Erion Veliaj (Mayor of Tirana) bore witness to the signing. Zhang Yongming (Chair of CCPIT Beijing) and Nikolin Jaka (President of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana) set their hands to the agreement. Competent authorities of both cities attended the signing ceremony.
The Capital Mayors Forum was slated to be held in Tirana on the morning of Oct. 25th. Cultural, educational and trade events as well as a dance show will be held on the occasion. As a trade event, the 3rd China-CEEC “17+1” Capital Chamber Leaders Roundtable, run by CCPIT Beijing and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana, is scheduled on the afternoon of the same day. Meanwhile, the economic and trade delegation to Albania organized by CCPIT Beijing will stage a business forum & matchmaking session.
