Li Luxia, Vice Chair of CCPIT Beijing and Deputy Director-General of World Trade Center Beijing (WTC Beijing), led a delegation to attend the 49th Annual World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) General Assembly held in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, from April 24 to April 28. With the theme “Trust: the Core of International Business”, the annual WTCA general assembly attracted about 500 attendees from nearly 100 global world trade centers through forums, seminars, field trips and other formats.
During the annual general assembly, Li Luxia, on behalf of WTC Beijing, signed friendly cooperation agreements and memorandums of cooperation with World Trade Center Algiers and All India Association of Industries respectively. She also held talks with Mr. Scott Ferguson, CEO of WTCA and Mr. Wang Xun, Vice President of WTCA Asia-Pacific region, to exchange ideas about business cooperation of WTC Beijing, large-scale international business activities held by CCPIT Beijing, service trade and other topics.
Moreover, the delegation promoted Beijing’s signature events such as CHITEC, ICCIE and relevant achievements of “Belt and Road” Alliance of Municipal Chambers of Commerce to many world trade center representatives present at the meeting, gaining extensive attention and enthusiastic responses. Delegates also exchanged with representatives of Dutch TMF Group, a member company of Dutch-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, about further opening of the service sector and legal service cooperation.
