On Apr. 16th, Li Luxia, Vice Chair of CCPIT Beijing, met with a Russian business delegation led by Representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kamchatka Krai, Vice President of Kamchatka Krai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), and Pavel A. Kudriavtsev, Chief Representative of Russian Federation CCI in Beijing. A business delegation from Inner Mongolia, led by the Chair of CCPIT Ordos, also attended the meeting.
First, Li introduced the main functions and foreign relations of CCPIT Beijing. She also mentioned two of the international events it co-organizes, i.e. CHITEC and ICCIE. With abundant natural resources and a vast territory, Kamchatka Krai, she believes, is a potential goldmine for the energy, TCM and tourism sectors of both countries. CCPIT Beijing is keen to build with the CCI a bilateral platform for tangible economic and trade cooperation.
Nikolaev then gave an account of the economic condition, competitive industries and major investment cooperation projects of Kamchatka Krai. For the sake of the projects, he hopes that CCPIT Beijing can stay in close touch with the CCI or, better yet, send a delegation to Kamchatka Krai.
Later, Chinese and Russian business delegates - some of them are deeply committed - explored opportunities of cooperation in trade, tourism, education and healthcare.
After the meeting, CCPIT Beijing signed with the CCI an agreement on friendly cooperation.
