On the afternoon of Apr. 10th, a 18-strong delegation of CCPIT Beijing visited the 29th International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air-Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation, Frozen Food Processing, Packaging and Storage (hereinafter referred to as “China Refrigeration 2018”) at the New China International Exhibition Center, Shunyi District. The delegation was led by President Zhang Yongming and comprised of Vice President Ma Changjun, Vice President Lin Bin, Vice President Li Luxia, Deputy Inspector Wang Chaoying, and heads of centers, departments and offices.
Zhang Yongming and other leaders looked into the details of the information management system of China Refrigeration 2018, and personally experienced the fast registration and accreditation procedure for trade visitors. In front of the booths of Emb-papst (a German air blower manufacturer), Beijing HaiLin Energy Technology Inc., and Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai, Zhang expressed the wish that the exhibition could enable exhibitors to promote economic and technical exchanges across the industry, providing an HVAC approach to upgrade China from a manufacturer of quantity to one of quality, and catalyze the evolution from “made in China” to “created in China”.
Before the visit, the delegation met with leaders of the other two co-sponsors, including Jin Jiawei, President of Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR), Meng Qingguo, Vice President and Secretary General of CAR, Fan Gaoding, Executive Vice President of China Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Industry Association (CRAA), and Zhang Zhaohui, Secretary General of CRAA. Zhang Yongming described CCPIT Beijing’s presence as a token of appreciation and support for China Registration, and an opportunity to learn from its peers. The success of the exhibition is, as he put it, the fruit of three decades of close cooperation. He hoped that the three co-sponsors could keep working together to establish China Registration as a high-profile, market-oriented, specialized international exhibition which contributes to industrial development.
Launched in 1987, China Refrigeration was co-sponsored by CCPIT Beijing, CAR and CRAA. Accredited by UFI and US FCS, it is one of the world’s Top Three influential HVAC exhibitions.
