On February 5th, 2018, at the opening ceremony of Estonia Business Forum and “Happy Chinese New Year- Beijing Week”, Mr. Lin Xiangyang, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Municipal Government and Mr. Aivar Riisalu, Deputy Mayor of Tallinn, witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Beijing Sub-council (CCPIT Beijing) and Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI), which marked CCPIT Beijing’s first friendly cooperation with Estonian Business Association. It was also a pragmatic measure to promote the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative (B&R) in Beijing, to facilitate the development of the “B&R” city alliance and to boost cooperation in trade along the Belt and Road. Up to now, CCPIT Beijing has signed MoUs with 193 business associations across 81 countries and regions.
