On Aug. 1st, Li Luxia, Vice Director of CCPIT Beijing, met with a delegation led by Myanganbuu Sarandavaa, Deputy CEO of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI). The meeting culminated in the establishment of a partnership, which is CCPIT Beijing’s first with a Mongolian commercial association. The partnership is conducive not only to the implementation of Beijing’s Belt and Road (B&R) plans, but also to economic and trade cooperation among B&R countries.
Ms. Li expressed CCPIT Beijing’s hope to jointly develop a cooperation platform with MNCCI for businesses from both sides. The platform is intended to provide convention and exhibition services, facilitate international communication and trade, build awareness of economic and trade laws, organize training and offer advice. It will in turn contribute to bilateral relations and China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor. Ms. Li also invited MNCCI to join the Alliance of Chambers of Commerce of B&R Cities.
Mr. Sarandavaa introduced the overall conditions and main business of MNCCI. He looked forward to further cooperation on conventions and exhibitions, economic and trade negotiations, study visits and training, and especially on commercial and legal services for businesses from both sides.
Founded in 1960, MNCCI is a non-profit, non-governmental membership organization. It runs six departments, 21 branches in Mongolia, and 64 offices in foreign countries around the world. It has over 3,000 business members and 100-odd sister chambers of commerce.
So far, CCPIT Beijing has entered into partnerships with 185 commercial associations in 78 countries and regions.
