On May 4, 2017, Intertraffic China 2017, co-organized by CCPIT-Beijing, Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Amsterdam RAI Exhibitions, and China Intelligent Transportation Systems Association, opened with fanfare at Shanghai New International Expo Center. Founded in 2007, the ten-year-old Intertraffic China is committed to promoting new ideas, new products and new techniques, enhancing domestic and international cooperation and exchange, and revving up the capitalization of technical achievements. It has developed into the largest expo of traffic engineering and intelligent transportation in Asia-Pacific.
This year's session assumed an unprecedented scale. Over 350 companies presented themselves in a 30,000m2 exhibition area, including Huawei, Inter, Hisense TransTech, SEISYS, GENVICT, Baokang Electronic, Beijing JAYA Technology, Nanjing Les Information Technology, the First Academy of CASIC, Daway Technologies of CASIC, SNBC, Leatoptech, Anhui Sun Cerate Electronics, Anhui Keli Information Industry, Henan Tatu Highway, DM Reflective, China Transport Infocom Technologies, Absen, Kyland, Beijing CenNavi Technologies, Yuantiao Tech, Nanjing Intelligent Transportation, Lianyungang JARI Electronics, Xiangxun Technology, Tertu, and Yinlong Energy. On the occasion of Intertraffic China 2017, a seminar on urban intelligent transportation innovations, electronic payment for transportation as well as other new ideas and techniques was held by the Co-organizers together with the Road Traffic Security Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security, Traffic Management School of the People's Public Security University of China, Highway Monitoring and Response Center of the Ministry of Transport, and Zgjtgcw.com. The seminar helped foreign enterprises seek advice on domestic markets and communicate or partner with their Chinese peers.
