2015 Annual Conference for Beijing Pivotal Social Organizations in Foreign Trade Held by CCPIT Beijing

On the morning of Jan. 16, CCPIT Beijing held “2015 Annual Conference for Beijing Pivotal Social Organizations in Foreign Trade”, reviewing the work of 2014 and arranging the key tasks for 2015. The Conference shed light on the related policies about the application for government procurement of services, introduced the successful application experiences and practices of Beijing Animation & Game Industry Alliance, and listened to the needs, opinions and suggestions from the participants. Vice-chairman Lin Bin attended and addressed the Conference which featured the presence of over 60 heads of some 40 social organizations in Beijing.

In arranging the 2015 work for pivotal social organizations in the area of foreign trade, Vice-chairman Lin Bin pointed out that, we should place a focus on the work of Social Development Committee of Beijing Municipal Committee and CCPIT Beijing, laying a solid foundation, updating the mindsets, keeping improving with the times, finding out new ways and means to conduct work, and realizing sustainable development. When applying for the government procurement of services, we should enhance research and study, give top priority to what is the most important, and prepare carefully. When using special funds, we should strictly observe financial rules. When offering services as social organizations, we should fully play an exemplary and leading role and serve as a linking bridge, turn into good account all supportive policies, extend the coverage of public service in the domain of trade promotion, place close attention to social organization resources in foreign trade, intensify efforts in cultivation, construction, service and management, build up international service platforms through joint efforts with key industrial associations, carry out diverse cooperation with international economic organizations in Beijing, uplift the international operation competence of social organizations in the field of economy and trade, and make fresh contributions to the open economic development of Beijing.
