Sino-West Australian Economic and Trade Fair Held Successively in Beijing

The Sino-West Australian Economic and Trade Fair was held by the CCPIT Beijing on the morning of April 22, where over 80 enterprise representatives from both sides attended it. Keith Seed, Director of International Trade Division of the West Australian Chamber of Commerce, and John Nicolaou, Chief Economist of the West Australian Chamber of Commerce, participated into it.

The West Australian area boasts for obvious advantages in Hi-tech, modern manufacturing and trade in service, etc. 20 entrepreneurs who visited China this time involved in architecture, manufacturing, tourism, food and trade in services. The CCPIT Beijing made a large amount of serious preparations, and arranged 5-7 Chinese enterprises for each Australian enterprise to hold negotiation. Several Chinese enterprises had concluded initial cooperative intent with Australian enterprise. The organization and conference services were praised by the attendees.

Mr. Keith Seed stated that this fair met with the expectations. He hoped the CCPIT Beijing regarded this cooperation as the beginning of long-term close cooperation, especially in terms of promoting the development and cooperation in trades in service between two sides. He planned to revisit the CCPIT Beijing this October to sign cooperation memorandum. He also invited the CCPIT Beijing to visit West Australia to carry out economic and trade communications and talks in terms of software design, service outsourcing, employee training and project contracting, etc.
