On Sept. 26, 2008, Deputy NI Yuegang met with the WTCA Long Beach Delegation in Los Angeles. LIU Xiaobin, General-Secretary of the WTCA Beijing, attended the meeting.
Mr. Vance Baugham, President of the WTCA Long Beach Delegation, firstly appreciated Deputy Chairman for the reception, introduced that this visit was to accompany Michael Antonovich, Chief Executive of Los Angeles, to be present at the Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum in Tianjin, and to pay a visit to Beijing and Shanghai, in order to attract Chinese funds to invest in Los Angeles. The visit of the WTCA Beijing was to enhance the economic, trading and information exchanges as well as project cooperation between two areas.
NI extended the welcome to the delegation on behalf of the CCPIT Beijing and the WTCA Beijing. He introduced the basic situations of the economic development in Beijing, and the roles of the CCPIT and the WTCA Beijing played. He believed the frequent mutual visits would consolidate the understanding and give full play to the WTCA Beijing to benefit enterprise. He suggested that the WTCA Long Beach organize enterprises in Los Angles to take part in the CHITEC and the ICCIE organized by the CCPIT Beijing.
Mr. Baugham promised to study the materials of the CHITEC and the ICCIE, hoped to make further discussion about the related problems in the annual meeting of the WTCA in Dubai to be held at the beginning of November 2008.
