The Intertraffic China 2009, co-hosted by Research Institute of Ministry of Transport of China and Holland’s Amsterdam RAI kicked off in ShangHai 18 March 2009. Head of Science & Education, Ministry of Transport , Mr. SUN GuoQing, president of Research Institute of Ministry of Transport of China Mr. LI ZuoMin, deputy director of ShangHai City Transport and Port Administration Mr. ZHOU Huai, and council general of Holland Consulate in ShangHai Mr. Eric VERWAAL cut the ribbon for the opening ceremony. About 600 people attended the opening ceremony.
More than 180 manufacturers from 21 countries and regions including Australia, Austria, Belgium, China, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Holland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, the US, Vietnam, HongKong, MaCao participated in the exhibition which covered an area of 12,000 square meters, attracting more than 3,000 domestic and international trade visitors. Despite the impact of the global financial crisis, international participating manufacturers still accounted for 30%, international visitors amounting to 20%.
During the exhibition time, the 6th Asia-Pacific Sustainable Transport and Environmental Technology Conference was also held and coupled with 3M、ACS、TELEGRA、PTV、ESRI、GRUN、YSL holding their promotion meetings and technology exchanges.
