KOTRA visits Beijing

CCPIT Beijing Vice Chair Mr. NI YueGang met with deputy chief of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Beijing Office Mr. ZHENG 4 June 2009.

During the meeting, Mr. NI briefed the guest on the high-tech expo and the cultural and creative industry expo, the organizational structure of Beijing Association for Trade in Services (BATS), its business functions and the next half year’s work plan. He hoped that the two enhance cooperation in business especially in trade in services. The two exchanged ideas on specific cooperative plans in trade in services, and agreed on trying to co-hold a business promotion during the next half of the year.

Mr. ZHENG said the high-tech expo held by CCPIT Beijing enjoyed great popularity among South Korean enterprises; he also showed great interest in the cultural and creative industry expo. He said that South Korea’s cultural and creative industry enjoys relatively greater superiority and would like to organize relevant enterprises to participate in the expo in Beijing in multi means. He also invited Mr. NIE to attend the opening ceremony of the 2009 South Korea Commodity Exhibition to be held during 23-25 June at the China international Exhibition Center.

Finally both expressed the hope of further deepening cooperation between the two organizations and establishing a more effective platform for each other’s enterprises by combining specific requirements of enterprises, consummating cooperation modes, expanding cooperation fields, and upgrading cooperation level.
