The 2009 China Academy of International Trade annual meeting and the international trade development forum held in TianJin

The 2009 China Academy of International Trade Annul Meeting and the International Trade Development Forum was held in TianJin from 6th to 9th November 2009. The theme for this year’s conference was “thinking and countermeasures of China’s outbound economic and trade development under the austere international economic situation.” Chair of China Academy of International Trade Mr. SHI YongHai and VP of CPPCC TianJin Mr. HE RongLin gave the opening speech while Deputy Minister of Ministry of Commerce delivered the keynote speech.

During the meeting, researchers, officials and professors from the National Development and Reform Commission, General Office of Ministry of Commerce, Development Research Center of the State Council, NanKai University delivered speeches on “the potential changes that China’s foreign trade environment may encounter during the post-crisis era,” “change crisis into opportunities, promote transformation of foreign economic trade development modes,” “China’s economic position in the world is to change,” and “introspection and trade protection during financial crisis.”

During the annual conference, Beijing Academy of International Economy and Trade shared its monograph entitled “Study of Beijing Service Industry Internationalization Development” and its annual research subject focused on promoting Beijing’s cultural and creative industry in its internationalized development.

150 strong experts, academics and officials from around the whole country participated in the annual event.
