A group of three people from the Union Investment Company of Italy visited CCPIT Beijing 11 March 2010 and held talks with head of our Trade Development Department on Italy’s tentative investment projects in China.

To further integrate the star hotels resources of Italy, offer better services to Chinese tourists, Italy has initiated some cooperation projects on its hotel industry, hoping that Chinese enterprises will participate operation and management by way of franchising, contract operation, cooperative operation, purchasing property right etc..
Italy, which features ideal geographical location with numerous ports, advanced airports, road network radiating all over Europe, promises a bright future for logistics. Italy expects to partner with Chinese transport and logistic enterprises in ocean shipping, air transportation, overland freight, storage.
Clothing and shoemaking are Italy’s branded industries, enjoying good reputation. Under the backdrop of world economy recovering, Italy hoped that Chinese enterprises would invest and cooperate by means of buying out, equities purchasing or wholly holdings. Meanwhile it hoped that Chinese enterprises would proxy some of Italy’s fashion brand to co-expand the Chinese market.
