Chairs of US, Europe Chamber of Commerce visit Beijing

An international chair of chamber of commerce delegation composed of US Chamber of Commerce Presidents Delegation, US Ford Foundation Delegation and European Chamber of Commerce Presidents Delegation visited Beijing China from 13 to 20 March 2010. The 167 people in the delegation were 70 strong US and Canada chiefs of chamber of commerce such as Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York State, Ohio State, Florida State, Detroit, Colorado State, Kansas State, Ontario members of Ford Foundation and presidents and CEOs of chamber of commerce from 20 strong such European countries as Norway, Sweden, UK.

CCPIT Beijing Vice-Chair Mr. NI YueGang attended the China-America, Europe commercial exchange banquet 15 March 2010. Mr. NI particularly introduced the Beijing International Friendly Chamber of Commerce Conference scheduled in July this year and invited chairs of America and Europe chamber of commerce to attend the event with company of entrepreneurs.

The delegates said that they were impressed with the modernization of the historical Beijing and hoped to strengthen cooperation with CCPIT Beijing and other chambers of commerce to promote free trade, establish business connections, and realize common prosperity.

This was the first joint delegation from the US and Europe chamber of commerce to visit China. Their purpose was to learn about Chinese history and culture, the developing China, explore common cooperation between the east and the west under the new global economic pattern.
