CCPIT Beijing signs cooperative agreement with Jordan’s Amman Chamber of Commerce

CCPIT Beijing Vice-Chair Mr. NI YueGang met with a delegation from the Amman Chamber of Commerce headed by its Chair Riad Saifi on 10 May 2010 during which the two signed a friendly cooperative agreement.

Vice-Chair NI extended his welcome to the visit of the delegation and briefed to the guests the basic info about CCPIT Beijing and major events it held, such as the C-5 Meeting, the International Entrepreneur Consultants Meeting, the China (Beijing) International High-Tech Expo and the China International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo. NIE said that enterprises that seek business opportunities and cooperation in foreign countries would have to understand the local investment environment and relevant information including arbitration, and all this requires cooperation and support of the local chamber of commerce.

According to Riad Saifi, Amman Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1923 and has developed 45,000 members in trade and service industry. The mission of the Chamber, which is the biggest commerce chamber in Jordan, is to offer services in trade. His Chamber and Amman Association of Industry co-contribute to the economic development of Amman and Jordan.

Afterwards, Vice-Chair NI on behalf of CCPIT Beijing and Riad Saifi on behalf of Amman Chamber of Commerce signed the above said cooperative agreement. Up to the present, CCPIT Beijing has signed 114 cooperative agreements with chambers of commerce from 59 countries and regions.
