On Dec. 26, 2008, Mrs. WU Shuqing, Vice President of the World Trade Center Association (WTCA), visited the World Trade Center Beijing (WTC Beijing). XIONG Jiuling, Chairwoman of the CCPIT Beijing and President of the WTC Beijing, NI Yuegang, Deputy Chairman of the CCPIT Beijing and Vice President of the WTC Beijing, and LIU Xiaobin, Secretary-General of the WTC Beijing, had a friendly talk with Mrs. WU.
Mrs. WU mainly introduced that the WTCA would built WTC exhibition hall in the Expo Shanghai, and the annual meeting of the WTCA would be happen in Beijing on the second half of October 2010, and hoped to gain support from the WTC. Chairwoman XIONG stated that the WTC Beijing attached high emphasis on activities of the WTCA, would assist with all efforts to make good preparations for the 2010 annual meeting of the WTCA.
At the talks, both sides said that they would take full use of the WTC platform to enhance cooperation and communications and to promote the economic and trading development of Beijing and China.
