The launch ceremony of the “2011 Global University Creative Expo” was held in Peking University on June 17th, 2011. Creative leaders from the fashion, design, media circle, top world creative enterprises, and ambitious college students from around Beijing gathered together at the Centennial Lecture Hall of Peking University.

The event released the main contents of the expo and first batch of projects that solicitate for creative ideas. The main activities of the expo covers the following: the "2011 Global Future Youth Creative Leaders Forum", Secrets and Tricks for Successful Interviews," the ranking list of the most creative enterprises and products in colleges students' eyes, "Youth Creative Job-Hunting Selection", and "the Global University Creative Expo." Vice-Chairman of CCPIT Beijing CHU Xiangyin attended the event.

CHU delivered a speech on behalf of the ICCIE Organizing Committee. He said that this was the first time that ICCIE Organizing Committee Office and China Education Television enters into a collaboration relationship. He hoped that the expo, as one of the special sessions of the 6^th ICCIE and a platform, could exhibit the research levels of well-known colleges and universities' creative disciplines, bring top creative youth into dialogue, where they could exchange their creative ideas, share their experiences on how they started up their businesses as such dialogues for sure could stimulate college students to be more creative.
