2011 Beijing Int'l Chamber of Commerce Mid-Autumn Saloon Held

 

On 30 August 2011, the 2011 Beijing Int'l Chamber of Commerce Mid-Autumn Saloon was held by Beijing International Chamber of Commerce (BICC) and CCPIT Beijing in Beijing. The aims of this meeting were to offer better services to BICC members and establish an international economic and trade exchange platform between governments, trade promotion institutions, social organizations, and in between members of chambers of commerce. BICC government council units such as Beijing Municipal Commission of Commerce, Zhongguancun Management Commission, Beijing Municipal Commission of Culture; heads of BICC executive council units of13 districts/counties chamber od commerce and their commission of commerce together with their specially recommended enterprises were invited to the meeting. Special invitation was extended to governments, trade promotion institutions and chamber of commerce of such countries as the US, Germany, Australia, Brazil, Nepal and Hong Kong. 
           
          Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing and BICC Ms. XIONG Jiuling addressed the saloon. She noted that under the big picture of Beijing's commitment of building itself into China's business and trade city and center home and abroad, BICC embraces scarce development opportunities and will secure great achievements. BICC will establish an international service platform with concern of the extensive location of its members, international experiences and Beijing's efforts of heading for a trade city and center. BICC will stick to needs-oriented servicing, focusing on foreign trade, foreign investment and foreign enterprises, renovating in service mode, extending service fields, help enterprises with their inbound and outbound needs. Intensify power of BICC's secretariat is another concern of BICC to help realize its efforts of offering better services to its members.
